Project Kindness has come a long way in a short space of time, thanks in part to the incredible support of our committee members who share our vision for a kinder world.

Clementine Hartson

Meet Clem, ProjectKindness founder and CEO. A passionate advocate for stronger, more connected communities, Clem has a background working in child protection and adult mental health. Through her many years of experience working with vulnerable children and adults, Clem realised the need for more kindness and support services in our community, and started ProjectKindness with the hope of providing access to a little care and support for those in need.

Clem holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science, as well as a Diploma of Counselling. She often donates her time to speak about mental health, helping to raise awareness and reduce stigma in her role as a proud Beyond Blue ambassador. Clem was named the 2021 Heffron Women of the Year in recognition of her work with ProjectKindness and invaluable contribution to the community.

Kate French

Meet Kate, ProjectKindness Vice President. Kate has been a supporter of ProjectKindness since its inception. Joining as committee Vice President in 2021, she hopes to combine her knowledge of marketing, content, and social media with her passion for creating a more equitable world, to help ProjectKindness change more lives for the better. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from UTS and more than 8 years of experience as a marketing specialist and content strategist working for brands like Nickelodeon, Autism Spectrum Australia, and Cochlear, Kate has been involved in a wide range of events, projects, and campaigns aimed at making a difference to the lives of Australian families.


Justine Hughes

Meet Justine, ProjectKindness Vice President. Justine formally joined the PK Team as Secretary in 2021 and has been a supporter of ProjectKindness from its beginning. Holding a Bachelor of Economics and Law from The University of Sydney and commercial experience gained through her roles at Mirvac, AMP Capital and currently at Aveo Justine brings her experience to the team to support the growth aspirations of ProjectKindness.


Casey Bourke

Meet Casey, ProjectKindness Treasurer. As a long-time supporter and volunteer of ProjectKindness, Casey joined the board as Treasurer in 2021. With a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, Casey brings a wealth of knowledge to this role. As a registered Chartered Accountant with over 10 years' experience, Casey has worked with a broad range of clients from start-ups to multi-national corporations. As Treasurer of ProjectKindness, Casey hopes to combine her experience together with her passion for spreading kindness through her community.

Natalia Ballotin-Hall

Meet Natalia, ProjectKindness Committee Member. Natalia joined the committee of ProjectKindness in 2021 to support the creation of strategies that enhance the profile and increase the revenue of the organisation. With strong commitment to social justice and passion for human rights, Natalia enjoys working with disadvantaged groups by supporting programs reach their goals and thrive. She has a bachelor in Journalism and Public Relations, and over 10 years of experience working with Marketing and Communications strategies across the not-for-profit and private sectors. Since 2018 she has been working as a Business Facilitator for Settlement Services International supporting refugees start or expand their businesses and become self sufficient.

Annabelle Hartson

Meet Annabelle, ProjectKindness Committee Member. Annabelle has been a huge supporter of ProjectKindness since its inception. She currently supports ProjectKindness with services such as moving furniture into homes, handing out food hampers and the organisation of ProjectKindness events. Annabelle is a Registered Nurse and is very focused on helping patients and ensuring the best support and healthcare possible. Annabelle is a great communicator and enjoys helping those in need. She enjoys communicating with people in need to ensure they feel comfortable enough to speak up.

Sarah Hartson

Meet Sarah, ProjectKindness Committee Member. Sarah is Director Global Property at Cochlear Limited managing the global property portfolio of manufacturing, commercial and clinical leases. Previous to this, Sarah managed privately owned family portfolios. She has a Bachelor of Property Administration from the University of Auckland.
Sarah’s passion outside of work is volunteer work, art and spending time with her family.
