ProjectKindness Founder Clementine Hartson was announced as Westfield Local Hero of the Year at @westfieldeastgardens for 2022.
To be nominated alongside Tracey Ayton, from Little Heros Swim Academy, and Tresne Chesher, from Surf Life Saving, was a great honour as they both contribute enormously to the community. Tracy provides swimming lessons for local children irrespective of their abilities, and Tresne promotes inclusivity as the first woman Skipper of Surf Life Saving Randwick’s Rescue 30 offshore boat.
Clementine was very humbled and grateful to receive the community’s support by voting, as the community is what makes charities such as ProjectKindness do what we do. This award will allow ProjectKindness to provide Kindness Hampers to vulnerable people to ensure they have food to eat and essential household items to create a home for themselves and their families.
